What do you do when you're admin of an instance with dozens of users and you're not feeling motivated to keep up with deleting all the spam accounts or figuring how you're supposed to manage them?

@sandro Close registrations in favor of user-invites maybe?

@elomatreb Good plan, after I somehow get rid of the dozens of spam accounts. For now I've made it admin-invite only.

@sandro is it just for a few friends? If so, can't you just give accounts manually?

@highfellow It's supposed to be for a community of 1000s, but they don't really use it, so yeah, I guess I should close account creation for now. (It's for W3C community.)

@sandro Lock registrations? If you have all the real members you can handle and spam is eating into RL then just don't let more people into your instance for now.
